Electrical Safety – Arc Flash – Stop Work Order for Electrically Controlled Fire Pumps
HAZARD: Due to the extreme hazard created by opening the door on any energized controller for motor-driven fire pumps, VSC F&S employees are to stop taking voltage and amperage readings on any controller not equipped with an external voltage and amperage meter.

Electrical Safety – Shock Hazard – Alarm Panel
Hazard: Electrical Shock. Alarm technicians are accessing live (active) alarm panels for testing and servicing. The 120V electrical supply to the panel board is live and does not have any type of insulating cover. THIS IS AN ELECTRICAL SHOCK HAZARD.
